AcadaClash
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how AcadaClash uses information when you create an account, play knowledge, board, card or word games, join clubs, enter tournaments, or use rewards and wallet features.

Information used by the platform
Account and profile information includes your username, name, email, password credentials, avatar, date of birth, country, region, interests, school affiliations, and profile preferences. Where applicable, we also collect a guardian’s email and information you submit for verification.
Gameplay records include answers, moves, scores, match results, rankings, club activity, tournament entries, and rewards. Wallet and purchase features use transaction records, payment references, withdrawal details, and verification status. Payment and identity providers process the information you submit through their services under their own notices.
Technical information can include device identifiers, IP addresses, connection and security logs, notification subscriptions, and browser settings. Voice or video features, where available, require permission to use your microphone or camera.
Why information is used
We use information to operate accounts, match players, run games and competitions, calculate scores and rewards, process payments, deliver notifications, and apply age and location restrictions. Security and gameplay records help detect cheating, fraud, and misuse and resolve disputes.
Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing supports the service you request, legitimate interests in maintaining a secure and fair platform, legal obligations, or consent for optional features. You can withdraw optional device permissions through your browser.
Public activity and service providers
Your player name, avatar, division, and relevant competitive activity may appear to opponents, spectators, clubs, and on leaderboards or tournament pages. Profile visibility affects which profile details other players can see. Your date of birth, email, phone number, and cash balance are not part of your public player card.
Hosting, real-time communication, notification, payment, and identity verification providers receive information needed to deliver their services. Competition organisers and sponsors may receive information needed to administer participation or fulfil prizes. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to investigate abuse.
Browser storage and notifications
AcadaClash uses browser storage for your sign-in session, a device identifier, preferences, and cached app assets. The service worker supports installation, updates, and offline behaviour. Clearing site data may sign you out and reset your preferences.
Push notifications require your permission. Manage them in notification settings or revoke permission in your browser. Camera and microphone permissions can also be revoked in browser settings.
Younger players
Profiles for players under 18 are private by default. Age information helps apply access and reward restrictions. The player setup asks for a guardian email for children under 13. Cash play is restricted to eligible adults. Younger winners can arrange prize claims through a registered parent or legal guardian. We retain the linked account IDs, relationship declaration, consent, review decisions and prize claims to administer these rewards. Approved guardians can view their linked players’ competition prizes; this does not give access to passwords, private messages or general account controls. Either account can revoke the link. Claim and payment records remain for integrity and audit.
Your choices and retained records
In Profile → Settings & privacy, you can adjust profile visibility, export your data, or delete your account. Profile settings let you update your player details. Account deletion signs you out and anonymises identifying account details; it does not erase every record. Match and ledger records are retained for integrity and audit purposes, and some verification or transaction information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or transfer personal data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority.
